Who Are We
1

The Athens VW Club started in 2002 out of a few flyers we posted around town on various windshields. Its founder knew there must be others who shared his love of all things Volkswagen, people who might be interested in a monthly cruise or a day set aside to work on cars.

The response was great and the club has a strong attendance at the meetings and other events we host. Some of our highlights include the Annual Poker Run through the northeast Georgia mountains (Mother's Day weekend), the Watkinsville Christmas parade in early December (we're told we're a crowd favorite there), monthly meetings at Loco's on Timothy Road in Athens (every 3rd Sunday at 3 pm) and tech days scattered throughout the calendar to keep everyone's VW on the road and running smoothly.

VW ownership not required; just an interest in and love of them. Our cars range from beaters to show cars and everything in between. Please come join us if you're in the area or look for our banner at most of the VW shows in the Southeast.
