GPS has us going through statum and hitting 316w for a bit. Maybe we could meet up somewhere near monroe and head on in together? _________________ 1969 Beetle

Does it bring you to 78? If so, we can meet at Stripling's store at the corner of 78 and 53. _________________ 73 Typ481

If you go to the website you can download a registration form. Having it filled out may speed things up when we get there.

Great time at the show today... Double Cab and the Vert did a great job, we were blowing by modern cars all the way there and all the way back!
This is a good show, the classes are a little weird, but the fun was still awesome! Nice to see Greg and Jon there. _________________ Jake Raby

Yup, it was a great day. Greg and I had a good ride over and Jake, Beth, and Ava rolled in right behind us. It is always entertaining hanging with the Raby family. The only VW that won an award would NOT have been my choice, but I was not a judge.
Still not sure what the difference between an import car and a foreign car is, but there must be one, as there was an award for the best of each of them.
The 74 ran OK but had issues at idle and when cold. Jake said plugged idle jet, so when I got home the carb came off and everything got cleaned and blown. (lucky carb ) Seems to run better....we'll see in the morning when she is cold.
Yup, it was a great day. _________________ 73 Typ481

This was a good show, for sure. The weather was perfect! Good to see Jon and Greg there. It never ceases to amaze me how much attention the old VW's get at shows ... Everybody seems to have a VW story of their own _________________ Beth Raby |

I was pissed because the baby seat wouldn't fit in the 912. After working for 3 years on it I wanted to get it to a show... So we settled for the double cab instead and even though there were no Porsches there (I needed to represent!) the double cab got a ton of interest. _________________ Jake Raby

I didn't take many pictures, but here are the ones I did get.
Greg's and my bugs
Jake and Beth's rides
A few of the other less important cars
This is a '79 Vert with 32000 original miles. Top, paint, and interior were still original...still fuel injected too.
This was my favorite car there...really!
Some cool toppers.
