Probably won't make it this year. Mandatory work Saturday.
If the situation changes I'll head down Saturday morning. _________________ 73 Typ481

We've never been to this show, but are thinking about going... Honestly it seems like it would be hot as hell with all that pavement and concrete in the infield and little or no shade. _________________ Jake Raby

Check out this thread, it shows the show area which is under cover for most folks.

I'm going to be camping Friday night and at the show Saturday. Parking under the shaded Area is on a first come first serve bassis. _________________ 1963 Beetle

Decided not to go... We are going to a Hot Rod show at Zion Hill Church in Cleveland instead, at least they have grass, trees and shade there! :-)
And its on a hill, not inside a huge bowl! _________________ Jake Raby

It was great...weather cooperated for most of the time and the wind was tolerable. Lots of cars, over 300 I heard. I was looking over the photos people took and I think my bus was in the background for 1/2...attention hog
The used/new parts vendors were out in force with an abundance of "stuff". I found a couple of items I "needed" and I saw other people with their hands full as well.
Many thanks to shaky and family, this was my best sleeping surroundings/accommodations since I started going to the show. Although getting to the show was an adventure. There are a lot of dark streets in griffin . _________________ 1969 Beetle

Sounds like a good show. We stayed close to home and went to a hot rod show in Cleveland to crash their party with German iron... _________________ Jake Raby
