Well . . . . due to both my parents having health problems, I haven't gotten much accomplished on the bus. I decided to set aside the wiring for a few days so that I could make SOME progress that I could actually see.....so here's what little I got done today....

Sorry for the following blurry pics. I don't know what happened. Working on the driver's side door, I had to remove the latch because it was stuck in one position....

After soaking for three days in Marvel Mystery Oil, the latch finally began to function properly. I was able to use the original type rivets to reattach the latch to the frame by placing a small flat head punch inside the latch channel and tapping the head of the rivet with a hammer....then placed the vent glass back in its chrome frame.

I took the window channel down to bare metal then primed and painted it gloss black. (new again!)

The vent window now has a new seal. Once I relocate (find) the window lifters in my shop, I'll have the driver's door glass reinstalled....

Well, it took most of the day ( I hate scrapers!), but I got the driver's door glass in place. Tomorrow, I will tackle the passenger door...

Hi folks. Sorry I haven't had time for any updates lately due to an extreme load at work. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get back to the bus until mid July. I do appreciate all the views though! Cool

Me again! Sorry for the major delay in updating. What was a 5 week work tour in Kentucky turned into a 14 week stay. I'm currently on my way home (at a rest stop now), and will be working on the bus with a vengeance for the foreseeable future. Thanks for looking!

Thank you! Looks like I missed a good time at the 'Ken&Inge Majal'. I'll be back next year!

Finally back in the shop hard for the foreseeable future. Here's today's progress....

Propane warning tag reattached....

Wheel wells had a little overspray....

Now that's better...

No pics but I do have the fuse panel complete ( less 2 mystery wires). The dash will be in by the end of the week. I also got the accelerator cable replaced and the rear brakeline bracket rewelded to the support arm. More to follow....

I worked on the back of the bus today. The tail lights and tag light are in and the rear wiring harness is in place........

I need to find some covers for the backs of the tail lights. Anyone? Anyone? Anyone?
