Does any one have an idea on how to remove this tube. It's my oil pressure relocation tube but it's clogged up. The metal end of the hose doesn't stick up enough to get a grip on it. I bought a claw foot socket but it's too big. (http://motorspares.co.uk/acatalog/info_LAS_4713.html)

OR

Any thoughts on running compressed air back into the tube to try and unclog it in place (not my favorite option)

I would have thought the claw foot socket would have worked. There's probably a more appropriate way to this but you could canabalize a long socket cutting off the wrench end, slide it over the hose, then use a pair of vice grips to turn it. Better yet use a Dremel to flatten two sides of the socket and use an adjustable wrench to turn it.

That looks like a grease gun flex hose. I can almost read the writing on the side that says not for air operated grease guns. If it is stopped up I would just cut it & use a regular socket to remove the metal part. I know we sell those hoses at my work for around $8.

Thanks guys, yeah it's a grease gun extension, Embarassed I think the idea of taking a deep socket is a great idea. I will try that tomorrow.
