We could always readjust my rear torsion to get it back to stock height. _________________ "A vision without a task is a dream - a task without a vision is drudgery- but a task with vision can change the world."

Ladies and Gentlemen........The "secure a room" lottery is officially over. Way to slip in just in time Greg!
We do have plenty of TENTING spots available across our lucious 2.98 acres in wonderful Bethlehem. Please feel free to pitch a tent, bus, piece of cardboard anywhere you like.
See everyone next week!!

The bus has issues, it's drivable though; it's day is Saturday!
However, the '67 beetle has an engine that is out (oil cooler gaskets replaced-original issue), and a chicken butt owner hoping that folks will help him re-assemble it this coming weekend. FYI - I took it apart for thorough inspection (all tins-muffler-heater boxes off) and cleaning and have been overwhelmed by lack of time and no money to properly clean and paint tin. It needs to get back together for a possible near-future sale, or? I would also like to get it back together in less than the 6? hours it would probably take me to do it right while figuring out where things go.
If I bring everything (box o' tins and stuff) on Friday do you think we can get get it put back together Friday night? It "should" be a matter of "what goes where" and we're done. I am just hoping to have other eyes on it to make sure it all goes together as it should.
Thanks and see you on Friday! _________________ "A vision without a task is a dream - a task without a vision is drudgery- but a task with vision can change the world."

If you can have the tins painted before Friday we should have no problem getting it put back together in a timely manner. _________________ 73 Typ481

I may not worry about painting the tins and just worry about getting it back together and running. The sooner I get it straight and on the road the quicker I can start trying to convince the wife we should not sell.
Sounds like a plan. First up for me is getting the engine back together Friday. I'll be there around 5:00. _________________ "A vision without a task is a dream - a task without a vision is drudgery- but a task with vision can change the world."

I have a 76 Westy that needs the heater cables and hoses, steering coupler, And would love to have someone take a look at my ignition in the steering column as it has a second ignition key from PO.
Looking forward to it.
Thanks,

Sorry to say, but work requires me to be on the road to Houston, Texas early Saturday morning. I truly regret missing Volksstock 2 years running due to my job but, I gotta go where the money is. I hope all who attend have a great time. Ken and Inge, thank you for your gracious hospitality. _________________ '58 RHD 2110cc Beetle
