Hey , she is absolutely Guys- Went and saw Pearl today she went to a great home. Spotless new seats cleaned up does not play in the rain anymore SIGH- Anyway here is the question- her brake lights are not working when brakes used. I did testing found one bad brake light switch. Jumped the connectors and they work seeing they go into one wire under the hood . when connected you would think the good switch would activate them it does not. Does the system need both switches working to work ? Sorry for being long winded / any thoughts ?? Thanks Gary

As I understand it the switches are redundant and only one needs to be functional to operate the lights.

If it were me, I'd make sure I had voltage coming in from the fuse box with the key on. Then follow the voltage to the switches and on to the brakes.

You should have switched voltage on one wire, on both switches.
