Happy Newyear everyone! Hope all is well. I need a machineshop semi local that can align bore my case. Its an as41 dualport 1600. Right now it is .040 and it has a good ridge in the front saddle so it will have to be .060 possibly .080 to clean it up. It will also need to be thrust cut. The thrust has been cut once so its 21mm and it looks like it will clean up at 20 with no problem. if anyone can help me thet would be awsome! Thanks.

I've used Gabriel's in Winterville with good results. I think they charged me $40.00 to "first cut" align bore, and $25.00 to wash it. I'm not sure if they have a bar set to do a third cut or not. They're in the phone book.

If they can't do it, try Whitey at German Automotive in Fletcher, NC. I probably have his # somewhere....

Thanks man. Yeah the guy that cut it for me last could only go .040 in. or 1.0mm in vw terms and hope for the best. Which in this case left a slight ridge in the front saddle. I guess my best wasnt good enough. Cause she be abumpin. My own fault , I new better but was in denial and ready to drive. So we gone do it again. I got it disassebled. all saddles look new except the front (flywheel end). I'll check with them tomorrow. Thanks again Clyde!
