I got a truck box from Sears and raided the $2.99 bin at Advanced auto and for under 20 bucks I loaded it with wrenches, pliers, sockets, etc. Cheap tool but they are just for an emergency. Didn't see the need in loading up my Craftsman. I also have a cheap set of feeler gauges, mini Mag Light, micro jumper cables, gloves, 4 way, a lid off my wifes old compact (mirror) and waterless hand cleaner. As far as parts, I carry a belt, 3 buck set of points, 2 plugs and fuses. Sounds like a lot but most of this fits in the box below and the rest fits nicely under the rear seat.

Duct tape is like 'The Force.' It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together.

If you have a 2.8 liter Type 4 in a Super Beetle Convertible, you should always carry a gas can Embarassed . BTW, "Grover's gas station" on 441 only carries regular- bad for 11:1 compression monster engines.

No names mentioned. Don't want to embarrass anyone.
