Might I suggest Lake Rabun Nat'l Park CG for a June gathering? This is less than an hour and a half up the road and is literally a straight shot up 441. Just a suggestion. This is a beautiful place and is host to the VW Bus campout Fire on the Mountain in September. _________________ "A vision without a task is a dream - a task without a vision is drudgery- but a task with vision can change the world."

I'd be up for that. The wife and I wanted to camp somewhere in June She has a birth4day0 in June. (Coded message.) We've camped there before and it's a pretty easy, pleasant ride up from Augusta. _________________ '67 Westy (Ursula)

Sounds good to me. I'm getting a new (to me) tent and it will need some testing out. _________________ 73 Typ481

My family and I are up for it too. And my wife also has a birthday in June. _________________ 1963 Beetle

I'm always up for camping and bugs! I may have a few other folks with me. We will be riding right by the Lake Rabun campgrounds tomorrow during the Poker Run. _________________ Steve

So I was checking out the calendar and we have the Karmann Ghia Treffen on June 14th, and the next day is our regular Loco's meet. How's the first weekend in June or the weekend of the 21st? _________________ '69 Bug, 1776, dual kadrons, Web 111 cam

For what it's worth, me not being a paying member as of yet, the 21st or 27th work best for me... _________________ "A vision without a task is a dream - a task without a vision is drudgery- but a task with vision can change the world."

This is the campground Jimbear is thinking of. June 20-22 will be the weekend. Everyone is responsible for there own reservations. It's $12 per site, per night, and they have toilets and hot showers. We can fish there too. I didn't see anything about dogs? I prefer burgers myself _________________ '69 Bug, 1776, dual kadrons, Web 111 cam

That weekend sounds good for me. Di works weekends but will try to get it off. We've taken our dogs and it wasn't a problem, but that was in October... _________________ '67 Westy (Ursula)

I'm not organizing anything. I'm not even going! Julie is due on June 21st at this point in time, and it may get moved sooner. This is a perfect opportunity for you guys to do a valve adjustment tech day, as the cars will all be cool in the morning. _________________ '69 Bug, 1776, dual kadrons, Web 111 cam
