Fifth annual Fire on The Mountain Full Moon Bus Club campout and Dutch Oven Extravaganza, September 18 - 21 at Lake Rabun CG . All VW's welcome. I am helping organize this year and would love to see some Athens folks represent. Should be 60+ buses and probably an assortment of other VW's as well. The weekend is chuck full of bocce ball, corn hole, beer, and doing a whole lot a nothing! Bring it up...! _________________ "A vision without a task is a dream - a task without a vision is drudgery- but a task with vision can change the world."

Corn hole? Is this Fire on the Mountain or Brokeback Mountain? _________________ '67 Westy (Ursula)

Di and I have been planning on going to this campout, but if there's gonna' be any corn-holin' it better be between me and her. Or me with her...or just me and her...hell, we'll just bring some butter. _________________ '67 Westy (Ursula)

Yeah, the rest of the crowd will be passed out or too busy looking for some munchies to worry about "corn holin"... _________________ Jake Raby

Keep in mind that this is a large and diverse crowd dedicated to camping in the various incarnations of the VW bus...split > bay > vannie (air and H2O> and yes, euro's (sorry to mention the latter here)... There are even some straight arrows I believe...
I thoroughly enjoyed myself last year and never went munchie huntin'...I knew where my munchies were... "Just joshin' ya beeve'..."
Kid, bug (oUo), and tent friendly. Doubling up on sites is cool as well...
Bug me video, Busboys Inc., GoWesty, and CIP1 are folks I've lined up to sponsor for door prizes so far... _________________ "A vision without a task is a dream - a task without a vision is drudgery- but a task with vision can change the world."

Jump up here on the couch and get comfy Jake. This group seems to throw your life cycle out of harmonic balance. Tell Dr. Phil your problems. _________________ 71 Standard Beetle "Big Bird"

Now I get it. Corn hole's one of those Nebraska/Indiana/Upper Midwest regional end-of-summer harvest rituals with the hot Scandinavian babes. You wear your Corn hole shirt, Corn hole coozie in hand, dig a hole and stick some corn in it. I was confused with the Georgia/Carolina/Savannah River basin end-of-summer ritual with the sweaty tattooed shirtless ex-cons that believe it or not, had nothing to do with corn. Shucks! My bad.
Now that that's cleared up, we look forward to making the trip. _________________ '67 Westy (Ursula)

I believe that the "bean" bags used are filled with corn...
And tell ya what...beer and corn hole go great together...
Build yer own...

Won't be making it to Fire on the Mountain afterall. Di can't take that weekend off and I'd hate to go without her. Plus, we're going camping in the bus at Gordonia/Altamaha S.P. a couple of weeks later for our anniversary and it'd be really hard for her to get two weekends off so close together anyway. But we love cold weather camping and hope to hook up with some off y'all later this fall and winter.
And I'm definately going to make me a couple of corn holes. It reminds me of "washers". _________________ '67 Westy (Ursula)
