FYI- drop spindles make the track approximately 3/4" wider on each side, which makes the tires rub the fenders. Many people run skinny tires and/or have the beam narrowed to remedy this problem. What works for me is early Porsche Riviera wheels which tuck into the car more- due to their offset. Scott just put on a set of "smart car" tires 155-60-15 size, which have fixed the problem even while using the stock wheels.
Anyone got a diiferent slant on the issue? _________________ '69 Bug, 1776, dual kadrons, Web 111 cam
