Hey Yall
I just picked up my first VW, traded an old Honda CB750 for it. I think the guy I traded got the better deal, I can see already that this beetle will become addictive and is sure to cost me.
Anyways it is a 73ish? super with a little todo list attached.
Looking forward to getting this one back on the road and meeting others that know a lot more about these strange sideways, waterless engines. |

Hey I live in statham! I've lately been doin someside work out of my garage. My latest is a 71 super vert with one hell of a grociery list . He's a collage kid and has kinda let it fall apart. So I'm going to straightin it out for him. Probably pull the motor and reseal it.
Tune it, fix some electrical stuff. You know, normal acvw stuff. But I Digress. If I can be of any help just hola. _________________ Shane Price

Thanks
I actually drove around yesterday and aside from the carb fiasco I have a clunking noise CV maybe. Oh well....
Once I get the manifold back on and the carb dialed in I may give you a call so we can go for a ride and figure out what the clunking is. |
