She likes to run. As a matter of fact, she likes to run so much that she tries to run, on occasion after the ignition is off. What could be the cause of dieseling in a TIV? _________________ 71 Standard Beetle "Big Bird"

1- Idle speed too fast at shut down
2- Heads are too hot, igniting the fuel mixture even without ignition
3- Not enough octane
4- All of the above _________________ Jake Raby

Jake, what are your thoughts on these octane booster (fuel additives) vs higher octane at the pump. And with that said, do you recommend me running a higher grade fuel next time? If so, mid or high? _________________ 71 Standard Beetle "Big Bird"
