I just bought a '74 Ghia and the doors are sagging. How can I fix this? I have to lift them to get them to close.

On the inside if the door frame at the forward most section (hinge pillar) you will find 4 phillips screws unless they have been changed out and/or have the original covers. If so, remove the covers and back off on the screws just a tad and lift the door into position. Have someone hold it or place on a mop bucket and adjust the height with phone books, paper, cardboard, etc and get the door to where you think it should be and tighten the screws. Give it a test and repeat if needed. Be sure to test the door handle and lock function when you are complete.

Thanks '71. That helped.

Any ideas on where I can find a wiring manual? Most everything is cut or tangled into a rats nest. The clock/fuel gauge has nothing hooked up to it. This is my first "project" car so I'm pretty clueless on a lot of this.

Ghia door hinges wear badly. This is probably the real source of the issues. Grab the door while it is opened and lift up on it, see how much wear is on the hinges.

I have several sets of Ghia doors for a 71 that have good hinges on them, I'll sell them for 40 bucks per door as I have nop use for them at all.
