Helped a friend load up some shop equipment and uncovered a surprise. Looks to be complete although it has some rust through all the bits and pieces are there.
A nice 69 bay camper.
How much should I offer, take it away for free and rid the yard of this heap or a couple hundred bucks?

Offer him whatever it takes to get it. Then give it to me.
Free is always good and cheap works too. _________________ 73 Typ481

If it is 09-69 then it is a 1970 Westy. I have one of those. It is good to have one if the price is right. _________________ 73 Typ481

Yeah we just went and checked it out. The motor turns by hand and its complete. I think it will be pretty easy to get it running. I like the old buses cause they have upright t1 style engines. I can't believe it had a good brake pedal. I say we drop it, put some chromies on it and roll. Don't even wash it. Actually not washing was Adams idea but I second it. Hey Adam, I'm sure Jake can sell you somethin with alittle more horse pressure to stick in it. That would be a perfect sleeper rod. Wouldn't that be the s..t? Spank some chevy's ass in a algae cover 70 westy Not to mention it's awsome for camping _________________ Shane Price

Nice find!! Lowlight campers are the new splittys. Comfort of a bay, ease of maintainence of a splitty, what more could you ask for? Plus, they only made the lowlights 4 model years (excluding the frankenbastard '72's). I used to have an awesome '68 Single Cab that I loved dearly, but I traded it to some jerk who's set on letting it rust away in a field. _________________ The Slumlord

That single cab isn't rusting away...it is gaining patina and when it has the proper amount I will bring it to the house. _________________ 73 Typ481
