That works for me. I could take Wilson fishing and it would count as "quality time."

Hey I got an Idea. There is a really cool ice-cream place called Scoops in Dacula a few miles down the road from Fort Yargo. Maybe a cruise there after a long day at the park. Here is there website.

Day trip, picnic, and cruise for ice cream sounds good to me. Saturday or Sunday?

I've heard that the State is raising prices on campgrounds and furloughing staff to meet budget cuts.

Maybe we can push the camping trip to later in the summer.

I really enjoyed the trip to Lake Rabun last year. Has anyone camped at Van Hook Glade just outside of Highlands, NC? It is one of my favorite non-primitive weekend sites. It is just down the road from Bridal Veil Falls, Dry Falls, and next to a day camp with lake for swimming and trails. It is always nice and cool there even in the heat of the summer and is a short trip from home.

Anybody up for a weekend trip like this in July? I think NC camping rates are still $12/night.

How does Sunday afternoon sound? We could meet at Fort Yargo at 1:00pm. Yes? No?

From the lack of response I'm thinking this isn't going to happen.

Unless there are suddenly a flood of responses, I'm making other plans. Mad

Let it go Jon. You've done all you could. He was a good event but I'm afraid he has moved beyond this world. -/\----/\-----/\---/\-------/\-------/\---------------/\--/\---------------------------------------------------------------------------------flatline
