|
|
At the planning meeting tonight, we discussed the possibility of creating/building a "custom" barbecue that could be brought to all of the club events. Something on a trailer, chop up an unsalvageable bug and turn it into a grill, ???
Anyone have any ideas......Sound like a VW Tech weekend project?
Post any ideas you have regarding the ATHENS VW CLUB travelling "Barb-e-cue".

Ken, are you just trying to get your post count up?
This looks like a good cold weather project for Joe. _________________ 73 Typ481

I think the back of a ghia would be a sweet grill. If you cut it off in front of rear wheels and put a hitch on it. _________________ Shane Price

I called Joey to see if he had a ghia we could use. He got mad that we would even consider turning a ghia into a grill. _________________ 73 Typ481

That looks cool! I think there using the engine compartment for storage. I think the engine compartment should be the grill, right? _________________ Shane Price
