Well I decided to strip the bug. it is gutted , glass out and fenders, hood and deck lid off. So far have one side sanded down. I hope to get the rest done in the next 2-3 weeks and maybe have it painted and put back by mid Sept. It has been long overdue for a paint job. I liked the flat look but now looking for a nice solid color with clear!!! Not sure yet on color anyway. hope to see you all soon . _________________ flat black 68 with biggies on back skinny up front- no power and i dont need wax!!!always ready for icecream !!! |

well still working on Bugly- its Dec and not done yet- really due to time- sanding is 95% done. but now to cold to paint- so collecting parts , so far have the low back seats and new covers, new old style hub caps, new bumpers with turn signals, new front fenders and a windshield.
still need carpet and door panels in grey, all new rubber and a dr. side vent window. and usual little stuff .
decided on a satin blue with grey interior.
come on warm weather. _________________ flat black 68 with biggies on back skinny up front- no power and i dont need wax!!!always ready for icecream !!! |
