Hey, anyone know of a good transmission shop? I took my wife's chevy tracker in to the aamco shop for a fluid/filter change and they wanted to rebuild the tranny for $2500 _________________ 1969 Beetle

What makes you think it needs any work at all? Is it not shifting correctly? Repair shops can be real scam artist. _________________ Ya can't have too many VDUBS.

That was my first thought, every once and a while it will downshift when it shouldn't so we figured to have the fluid/filter changed, then the bill kept climbing _________________ 1969 Beetle

$2500 seems a little ridiculous. As Jon said, check with Shane. _________________ Ya can't have too many VDUBS.

Bring it to me. I can beat that price by a long shot. If it needs to be built that is. It probably doesnt though. _________________ Shane Price
