Im restoring my 83 gti now. I would love to find an old junk rabbit or two to rob parts from. I need some interior panels and a square headlight grill. If any one has or knows where to find some used parts please let me know. _________________ Shane Price

Shane, I definitely have a square headlight grill. No interior panels though. I will try to get a pic for you tonight. |

I will see if I can get a pic this weekend. Time is tight right now. You say that you are restoring the GTI. There are three styles of square headlight grills...do you need the exact one for the GTI? |

If only difference is color I can paint it. Mine is broken above left headlight. Not sure if that is part of grill or trim. Are n't some of these grills 3 or 4 pieces? The actual center grill between headlights is good its the piece above head light that is red on a gti that I need. I havent taken it apart yet. Doing interior work this week. _________________ Shane Price

And I will check on the A/C blower motor. Not sure if I tossed the one that I had laying around. |

I think we have the blower motor fixed. Adam made bushings and we rebuilt it. Check anyway though. Wouldnt hurt to have a spare. Being there isnt exactly an over stock of those things out there thanks _________________ Shane Price

Shane,
spent the weekend taking care of sick family so no time to root around for parts. Haven't forgotten about you though. |
