I have to tell somebody about this deal. I have been looking for some 'bbs looking' wheels to go on the race car. I needed some wheels the right size (15) and something that said german sporty etc etc. Well ran into a friend that had some on his car and sold them and when i expressed my displesure he said he had some BBS wheels at home. Then he tells he me he didnt have 4 he had 6 would take them all. So I asked how expecting he would want a good bit for REAL BBS wheels. He asked if I would powder coat his motor cycle frame for the wheels. "Why hell yes " I exclaimed, "When do you want it done?"
So I have 6 15x 6.5 wheels that are about to be red and silver for a little work in the powder coating shop.
Just had to share.

Is it hard to powder coat 2 colors and get a crisp look?Do you have any trouble with one color bleeding onto the other color?
BTW, the BBS wheels look great |

doing multiple colors are no problem. it is just time consuming because you have to one color at a time and tape off what you dont want covered then bake. Doing fades is easier because you dont tape anything, you just fade your powder then bake and once all your color is done, you lay some clear on it to make it shine.
