|
|
I sold the Pinzgauer a few weeks back and started looking for a Mercedes Unimog.. Found one a couple days ago that needed a tranny rebuild, tune up and some TLC.. Its a 1973 404 model, 6 cylinder gas engine with a 6 speed gearbox.
It arrived last night and its in damn good shape. Really just needs the tranny work, the floor of the bed rebuilt and some good cleaning..
Might not be a VW or a Porsche, but it is a close cousin that is still cool as hell, big and bad ass!

Pretty much done with racing for now.. No time for it. The Mog is just a very useful toy. _________________ Jake Raby

Does yours have a PTO? (not sure if that is standard or not) I remember seeing quite a few Unimogs being used as tractors in Germany. |

Mine is a 404, the 406 is the Diesel with PTO. _________________ Jake Raby
