Today I had the privilege to sit on the side of the road with a non running bug........
The distributor had backed out just enough for the rotor button to slip out of time.
Not all bad though, someone actually pulled over to see if everything was alright. This big guy with long hair and tattoos stopped to see if I needed help.....Kudos to Scott for keeping an eye out for a dub in need.
Also a plug for Shane helping (actually fixing) the problem. |

Didn't Shane build that engine? Hmmmm.....
It's nice that you and Scott both have 68 bugs and now a side of the road bonding. How sweet. _________________ 73 Typ481

Yeah, the clamp has been over tightened at some point and bent not allowing the dist to sit all the way down. Now that I think about it, I never removed the dist. Even still I hate that I didnt catch that. Oh well, its fixed now. _________________ Shane Price
