Is it possible to replace the brake light switches on the master cylinder without spilling brake fluid everywhere and then having to re-bleed the brakes? _________________ 1969 Beetle

Yeah Greg, you can usually just screw ikt out and screw it back in. If you want you can start the new one and have someone push pedal down and hold it on floor while you tighten it. I dont think i've ever had to bleed one after replacing switch. _________________ Shane Price

Excellent, thanks, I think I've figured out how to make that red brake light on the dash functional again but I need the 3 prong brake light switches. _________________ 1969 Beetle
