If there is room in the Swamp or above, I'd like to reserve a space. I'll bring an air mattress. If not, Gary tell your cat to scoot over! Kellie probably won't make it this year. We were invited to a football party on Saturday that she'll be going to.
I won't be doing any floorpan replace like I originally thought. I'd like to work on my 67 Bug's saggy rear end. Replace shocks both front and rear, replace inner and outer torsion bushings, rebush the zbar, rebead the rear fenders.
I'm also looking for a decent rear driver's side fender '61-'67 if anyone has one.
Clyde, I'd like to purchase inner and outer rear torsion bushing from you. I've got shocks and zbar bushings. I'd also like to borrow your magnetic protractor and spring plate tension reliver thingy, pretty please
I cannot wait for next weekend...Volkstock is always a blast!
Hey Inge, can I borrow some swimming trunks _________________ Steve

Please post if you have something you want to work on. I'm sure we can get it done, we always have, but we need to know to put it in the plans.
Gary are we swapping your engine & trans?
We need to start the biggest projects on Friday night.
Pete, my air horns have a little compressor, twin horns and I have no button. You said we can use the stock steering wheel button, right? _________________ 73 Typ481

I really need to replace the clutch in my 66 'vert.
Also, still chasing down all those little electrical gremlins
The parking lights are brighter than the headlights, and when the headlights are on, the turn signals don't work. So, for now, its a daylight driver. _________________ 63 Beetle |

I will have our bugs parked outside the garage in the driveway in front of the GATOR ROOM. I plan to tinker on some electrical issues with SLEDGE and cosmetic items on TWEETY!!
We will not be tying up any valuable GARAGE time. |

I got the steering dampner installed on the Thing (Margaret) yesterday and it seemed to cure the majority of the shimmies but I wouldn't mind someone with a lot more frontend knowledge taking a look at the ball joints anyway. Bought the clutch from Clyde already so . . . .that's my main goal. Looking forward to a GREAT weekend!
I also have 6 jack stands, a floor jack and a wide base floor jack that's really useful for engine drops, along with assorted pullers and tools. . . . . Should I pack an extra shop light?
Thanks in advance for the reservation Ken! _________________ '58 RHD 2110cc Beetle

Four jack stands ought to be good enough, Mike. Put your name on them. Bring the shop light too.
Note to all:
Fans and extension cords will be very valuable. It can get pretty hot. We also go through lots of paper towels at the utility sink.
Bring any neccessary chemicals for your project, too: brakleen, carb cleaner, acetone, mineral spirits, denatured alchohol for brakes, RTV sealer for valve cover gaskets, etc... And rags. And saftey glasses or goggles for under cars. _________________ '69 Bug, 1776, dual kadrons, Web 111 cam
