Well, I just replaced my igntion switch (thanks clyde!). Boy was that fun. Had most of the dash insides on the ground at one point Smile My question is..do I go ahead and put a relay in now to protect the switch and keep it from burning the contacts or just leave it as is (it's working now)?

I'll say this I put one on my car and the starter sounds a lot more powerful now. With the original ignition system you have to send all the current through that switch and over time the wires get old and they'll be to weak for all that current to go through. If you install a relay it is protecting the wiring in your car along with the switch since the relay requires such a small amount of electricity to activate. It took me about 10 minutes to install my relay and it's right next to my battery and starter.
