Who has projects that they want to take care of at Jake's?
I would like to shorten my heater boxes on the Thing so that my muffler tucks up under the car.
I realize this may take some time and I'm counting on Joe to be there to do the welding work. I guess I should also ask Jake if it is ok to use his welder as long as I pay for any materials used. What do you think Jake? Is this something I can do at your place or should I just plan on taking it to August to have Joe do it there?

| Hey Jake, I plan on having my race engine installed and mybe at least have run it up and down the road to shake it down. Can I bring it over and run it on the dyno to see what we can get? Yes it will be loud. |

I was talking to Clyde yesterday about Disc brakes on my 70 Beetle.
He mentioned this would be a good time for that.

You could do that here.. Just plan on staying overnight, because often times the elements of the conversion can be more detailed than one day will allow time for.

Most of the time we camp out in the floor of my classroom.. Its plenty comfy to sleep about 12-15.. Just bring an air mattress and sleeping bag/etc.
