Any thoughts? I've tried shooting some wd-40 into the shaft area with no luck. I'm wondering if the choke coil is getting weak and not closing the choke. _________________ 1969 Beetle

With the current teperatures, the choke is already partially warmed from the ambient temperature and is not completely closing. To close all the way, you will probably have to adjust the choke coil. HOWEVER, this time of year, the engine hardly needs any choke at all anyway. _________________ Ya can't have too many VDUBS.

true, it just makes starting it when it's "cold" a little tricky but I can deal with it _________________ 1969 Beetle
