Don't worry... you'll have your own shelf whether you want it or not!

Jake I figured I would have my own sooner or later just hope its later with the pricery stuff.
I finally went fast enough that the front end of the ghia got REAL light. So we need a spoiler/splitter for the front end. If any of you have ever built, beat, or molded a spoiler/splitter and have a pic please post. Maybe somebbody has on idee or 2 that I could put together and come up with something that will work.

hello folks, due to a family emergency, we were not able to run AMP. Family is more important and they dont pay me to drive anyway. we are making a few changes to the car to get the roll center lower and building a front spoiler/splitter/aridam. I will post pics when I get it done. our nest race is at the carolina motorsports park in Kershaw, S.C. then the hill climb in the mountains. Both are in September.

So long for now.

Don't get it so low that you kill the suspension travel.. Thats the issue when building a race car from a chassis that has a front end as advanced as a Farmall Tractor..

Rear sway may tighten it up too much... Rear engine cars always need to be set up to push.

i have lowered the rear also and it softened it up and I fear the rear will roll to much. the wheel/tire is real close so I dont want it to roll over onto the tire and cut it in a turn. I guess we will find out soon enough.

ok with the CMP race cancelled we didnt know how the changes to the car would do until we got to the mtns. we got there and it rained sat. now that will get your attention racing up the mtns on slicks and raining and a little fog for safe measure. we got a 188. 8 for sat. then lightning hit the timing ans scoring. the sun came out on sunday and we got a little faster with every run. we finished with a 152.334 I didnt know I could hold my breath for 2.4 miles. that was the best time I have had racing yet. The only car problems we had were a rejet because of the alltitude (?) and the rough road shoock the coil loose and it would up in the alt. belt. we repaird that and made a few more runs. we drove the car on the trailor which is always a good thing. some other guys could say that. we took over the points lead also so it was a great weekend over all. if any of you race and have never done a hill climb you need to they are awesome thanks ron

ok got the racing season kicked off last weekend over at little dega
we done very good. we ran over 7 secs faster than last year. we didnt brake anything and thats a good thing. Jake, the sway bar did make it a little tight. we were picking up the rt frt. in the carasell about a foot from what everybody saaid. we took it off and made it better there but hurt us in the wiggle. next race is road atlanta in may.
