Thanks to many of our friends, the wiring issues in my car are now fixed in about 6 hours! There are still a few things to be hooked up and put together, but this put us WAY closer to our goal. As I am going to college in under a month, I'll need something to drive, and this is my planned vehicle of transport.

I am trying to rearrange my work schedule so I can come by this Saturday. If I end up working, I will be over after 4:00

Another productive Saturday for Jon's car. Joe and Johnny made the trip from Augusta and Steve came from Athens Cool .

After Clyde saved the day by providing the correct rear window rubber. The front and rear windshields went in. Once they were in it was time for a beer (or two) then it was on to pop-out installation.

All the windows are in. The headliner is 98% finished and it now looks like a car.

Thanks to all who are helping get Jon on the road. party0006

Volkstock was hugely successful in getting Jon's car miles closer to being on the road! Thanks Volkstock pit crew!

Today he got it insured, registered, and tagged.

Still a few issues to work out and then it will be on the road. Tonight we work on the carb that seems intent on leaking gas from places that gas shouldn't even be.

Wonderful News - Congrats Jon Jr!!

....Take it from me, do not cover the license plate with any kind of "COOL" plastic protective license plate cover!! - (No matter how awesome it may look!) - They are against the law!!

Jon should be posting some pictures and an update soon.

The things that still need attention are bumpers, seat belts, aim headlights, rear seat, battery,.....things like that.
