I was thinking I would just show up and say I'm a sponsor but then I realized sponsors get to play so I guess I'll be in it too. Add NGS (North Georgia Speedometer) to the list of sponsors. |

Since I sold the Double Cab and we don't have any other current VWs that will accept Ava's car seat, Beth and I will be supporting the Poker Run with my G- Wagen, in case anyone has issues on the run. _________________ Jake Raby

Kris Klein also sponsored with a 12 month prescription for flea and tick medicine. For pets. He's a Veterinarian, so this is strong stuff, and he'll need to know your pet's weight and maybe some other info?
Thanks Kris! _________________ '69 Bug, 1776, dual kadrons, Web 111 cam

What time are people leaving the Athens area on Friday?
I have the afternoon off and will probably head up as soon as Little J is out of school. (I may bust him out of school a little early) _________________ 73 Typ481

We ride rain or shine!
We will have a couple of trucks with trailers and/or tow bars. No one gets left. _________________ 73 Typ481

Thank you to all who came a cruised the mountains with us. It was good to meet the new folks and to see all the regulars. Thanks to the sponsors that donated the prizes, I think over half the participants went home a prize.
The cook-out was again a great success, dispite a poorly timed rain shower.
**We do have a few event t-shirts left- $ 12.00 I'll post a list of the sizes left if anyone is interested. _________________ 73 Typ481

Great planning, as always!
I think it would be cool to have a Geocaching run.. Have teams of 3-4 cars head out with coordinates to find a cache hidden somewhere, like a treasure hunt. At the first, second and third points the scavengers get coordinates to the next cache. At the final point there are vouchers for the grand prize and coordinates for a rendezvous point where everyone will gather afterward.
Much different, but I think it would be cool! _________________ Jake Raby
