Finally got finished with my gauge project, and a project it was. Everything on a bus takes 3 times as long and twice as hard but...it's done! I mounted the gauges down low and to the left to keep them out of my line of sight but still visible. I fab'ed up some brackets to bolt the cluster to the dash. I then used the steering column bolt. I just had to drill one small bolt hole for the other side of the cluster. It took some effort but I'm pleased with the outcome.
fyi....The oil temp isn't working yet. Still have to find or drill a taco plate.

Sweet. You'll never be able to "drive blind" again.
Now you have a rolling dyno. _________________ Jake Raby

Next mile stone, I finally got my gauges working So I will finally have some numbers to start working with. So far I'm seeing 360-380 at 60 on sort of hilly surface roads. It stays in the 390 to 415 range when I'm on the expressway running 65.
The oil pressure started out at 55psi, then after a while it dropped to around 40ish at almost all speeds.
I may edit these numbers as a trend becomes clear but I'd love to hear any thoughts on the subject. _________________ 1969 Beetle
