1974 1600cc stock, I did a compression test and came up with 1 & 3 were at 90 and 2 & 4 were at 125 I also did a leak down test a it indicated that the rings and piston are gone. I was think about gone to a 87MM piston from the 85.5MM is it worth the effort, any thoughts, thanks |

I'd keep it stock. The gains are not enough for the reduction in cylinder wall thickness. _________________ Jake Raby

Thanks, Jake that's what I was thinking, if I get this buggy up and running hopefully I can get up there the next tech weekend and run a few rounds through the Barrett 50 cal or 1919A6 with hand crank at the Raby's rifle range. |
