The dates are set for Volkstock 2015.
Friday August 7 thru to Sunday the 9th.
Put it on your calendar NOW. No excuses about not knowing far enough in advance.
If you are not sure what Volkstock is, feel free to ask questions or read thru previous years' post to understand all the excitement! _________________ 73 Typ481

My family will be there. I've got a number of small projects I could tackle depending on what's going on. The bus needs New CV boots, the bug needs a windshield. |

I would like to get some help installing front disc brakes on my 72 Beetle if you need another project for the weekend. I have not been to one of your sessions so need info on how this works. Thanks Greg |

If possible arrive on Friday afternoon/evening so we can get a good start. Double check and be sure you have all the parts you need. If you need parts please call Clyde as far in advance as you can and order your parts. If you aren't sure what all you need, Clyde is also the answer man.
If we start Friday evening we should finish relatively early on Saturday barring unforeseen problems. (we never have any of these ) _________________ 73 Typ481

It is a trend that Greg tries to perpetuate. _________________ 73 Typ481

Hello to the Athens VW Club and the hundred's of thousands of Athens VW followers!!
Ken and Inge here....The time has come to start WELCOMING everyone to our humble establishment. Volkstock is a short 4 weeks away and we are getting excited about having you all here at 203 Cole Circle - Bethlehem, Ga. 30620. - (Contact# 678/425-7465 - Ken's Cell)
We would like to offer some sleeping accommodations on a first come first serve basis. Start reserving now on this site!!!! - (Your post is your reservation!!)
1. Front bedroom (Bed missing - Will have a "full size" blow up mattress for 1 (or 2 if you like to spoon!!) - I might have another to make it into a double KING!!
2. 2nd Front Bedroom (Full size bed - 2 can spoon more comfortably!!)
3. Sleeper sofa - (Now located in the house instead of the SWAMP/doubles as a visiting dog couch, but CLEAN!!)
4. U shaped leather sofa in living room - (Could sleep 2 people in an air conditioned home!!)
5. Fleetwood Tioga - (C-Class RV) - As you all know, this accommodation has been reserved for the next 25+ years by the Hobus family!! - (If Jon owes you anything, you may be able to negotiate a spot as it can sleep 6)
6. Class A - (Gary Burns) - If Gary agrees to place it in the front yard again and if someone can help us figure out how to have both recreational vehicles running their A/C's at the same time.....I think it can sleep 2 and maybe one on the couch. What say's you Gary?
7. THE SWAMP - Clyde and Wilson have had honorary reservations as Clyde and Wilson are in fact the VW technical men and resident parts suppliers/distributors for the club. - (You lost the sleeper sofa Clyde, but the "old" living room sofa is in their now along with another 6 ft+ sofa with massage units to ease aching muscles.
8. Deluxe (Above the SWAMP) private studio. - (We have 1-2 mattresses up there that actually feel quite nice after about 18+ hours of V-Dubbin' in the GA heat. - (Did I mention AC?????)
9. Tent and Bus Camping - Anywhere you want to set up/park on our property.
In addition to the "FREE" accommodations above, we open our home, bathrooms, refrigerator's, POOL, floaties, googles, barbecue grills and anything else we have on site for your use over the course of the weekend.
Here are some of our meal plans for the weekend:
Friday (PM) - PIZZA/CHIPS/WATER/COOKIES
Saturday (AM) - Coffee - (I promise no waffles!! - McDonalds conveniently 1 mile from our home)
Saturday (Lunch) - Reheated Pizza from Friday Night, Chicken Wings and new bags of chips and cookies!!
Saturday (PM) - Hamburgers/HotDogs/Beans/Chips/Macaroni Salad/Condiments
Sunday (AM) - Coffee - Golden Corral breakfast or Waffle House or Huddle House - (Depending on how we are all feeling and the commutes home we all have!)
Stay Tuned!!
Ken & Inge
