You can either get the replacement rivet and tools or use a small screw and acorn nut to hold the pivot back together. But please don't cut the new gasket. The Windows do have to come out. |

Inge and I are getting excited about having you all here for the weekend. As always, we would like to offer some sleeping accommodations on a first come first serve basis. (Your post is your reservation!!)
1. Front bedroom (Will have a "full size" sleeper sofa with mattress on top - Linens/Pillows provided!! - (Close to the indoor restroom!)
2. 2nd Front Bedroom (Full size bed - 2 can spoon more comfortably!!) - Also close to the indoor restroom!
3. U shaped leather sofa in living room - (Could sleep 2 people in an air conditioned home!!)
4. Fleetwood Tioga - (C-Class RV - Ken and Inge's) - As you all know, this accommodation has been reserved for the next 25+ years by the Hobus family!! - (If Jon owes you anything, you may be able to negotiate a spot as it can sleep 6)
5. Class A Camper - (Gary Burns vehicle) -
PAT has RESERVED the main bed!
There is a spot on the sofa left...
6. THE SWAMP -
Clyde and Wilson have had honorary reservations as Clyde and Wilson are in fact the VW technical men and resident parts suppliers/distributors for the club. - (Sometimes Steve will sleep with them as he is afraid of the dark!)
7. Deluxe (Above the SWAMP) private studio.
GREG has RESERVED this accommodation!
8. Tent and Bus Camping - Anywhere you want to set up/park on our property. Bring a long extension chord if you want to power up anything.
In addition to the "FREE" accommodations above, we open our home, bathrooms, refrigerator's, POOL, floaties, goggles, barbecue grills and anything else we have on site for your use over the course of the weekend.
Here are some of our meal plans for the weekend:
Friday (PM) - PIZZA/CHIPS/WATER/COOKIES
Saturday (AM) - Coffee - (McDonalds conveniently 1 mile from our home)
Saturday (Lunch) - Reheated Pizza from Friday Night, Chicken Wings and new bags of chips and cookies!!
Saturday (PM) - Hamburgers/HotDogs/Beans/Chips/Macaroni Salad/Condiments
Sunday (AM) - Coffee - Golden Corral breakfast or Waffle House or Huddle House - (Depending on how we are all feeling and the commutes home we all have!)

Projects:
1) I would like to refresh the rear brakes on the bus and install the brake booster
2) I need to install a new gasket on the beetle front windsheild as the one from last year leaks (poor seal not poor install)
3) Learn about the window scrapers as i need to tackle this one day
Housing:
- sleeping in the bus with fam
Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Favorite event of the year!!!!!!!!!!!! |
