My buddy, Val, just moved to Brazil. He wrote me to let me know that he thinks of me everytime he sees a classic VW, which he said is about every 2 minutes. He sent a link to a VW classified page. Check out all of the Brazil only models like the Karmann Ghia TC and Pumas.

I forgot that they were still building split window buses into the 70's
They showed a Brasilia for sale. It was sort of a precursor to the Golf (Rabbit) VW actually had a prototype in the late 60's that looked a lot like a Brasilia, but with an aircooled engine in front.
And, who can forget the 87-93 VW Fox
Until recently, they were building Golfs & GTI's there, but since have come to their senses, and are being imported from Germany again. _________________ 63 Beetle |
