Yeah... Those trophies were cool, especially considering that the car isn't even totally finished yet...
The only trophy that Beth and I cared about was the one that Chico didn't get at Dyno Day... :-)
Getting that car sideways on the rollers was unreal! You guys might see the car at the meet this weekend.. _________________ Jake Raby

The wife and I made it down to the show. I was impressed at some of the speeds. I have seen a few run here and there before but not like that. Debbie had never seen anything like that. She describes them as little "duddlebugs the spun there tires and rared up and all!" to everybody she sees. I think she is hooked. I tried to meet all that I saw and shake hands but I know I missed a lot of you folks. It was nice when some one from the Athens group came up and said hello. I am hoping to have the 67 done in time for the poker run. In the mean time, ya'll keep 'em straight down there. |
