James had to go out of town for business, but I'll tell him tonight. He's a shutter bug and I'm sure he'll be up for it. _________________ Howdy ya'll. It's James' wife...Christi |

I have an idea for this weekend. I occasionally hear people talk about certain pieces of an engine that may be of different sizes or types like, I heard some one mention a certain mm oil pump or single vs dual port or in my case I didn't know I had an IRS. What if we, for those that don't know and want to, go car to car and do an identification. It's got this carb and this pump and that trans. I personally would love to log and have someone that knows, help me log my cars data. This way I can speak with a little more knowledge when I have a problem. Just a thought. _________________ 71 Standard Beetle "Big Bird"

we'll play "Name that part"...
Thats how I was trained on the pieces that make up a Helicopter as a Marine...
The only difference was, if we didn't know what the part was it cost us 100 Marine Corp push ups.. You can learn 26,000 parts and most of their part numbers and locations in 6 months :-)
You'll learn really quickly or become very, very strong!!
Anyway, I'll do what I can to point things out, unfortunately we'll have to carry a fast pace to get Jon a 481 out of a 181 in a single day... _________________ Jake Raby

There will be plenty of opportunity to learn this weekend. The best way is to be 'hands on' with someone guiding you.
Being able to watch Jake work will be an education for all of us. Just don't get in his way. It might be hazardous to your health. _________________ 73 Typ481
