Being able to watch Jake work will be an education for all of us. Just don't get in his way. It might be hazardous to your health. |
I'm sure that what you and Jake are working on would just confuse me further, so staying out of your way won't be a problem  . Hell, if someone would just walk me through a valve adjustment, points adjustment, and timing adjustment, I'll be one happy camper _________________ Ted Mierzwa

A big Thank You in advance.......I have read most of the Muir book, and he delves a bit into the "Why", but I couldn't necessarily explain the "why" to someone.....so, I'm thinking I probably don't understand the "why" too well yet _________________ Ted Mierzwa

Dude - I have a "tow-do-ma-hicky" thing.
If it is for the 63, then yes Gary say's mine will fit fine. I have a truck also. When do you want to bring her over? - (Friday night - I have to work from home til 5 pm, but could come over after that ) or (we could do an "early" Saturday am pickup)?
Let me know... |

Been out of the loop for a few days.....catchin' up on posts, etc.
Just checkin'......Are you still going to be able to give technical advice Jake on timing, valves, etc? It sounds like you are going to be pretty busy Saturday on Jon's THING? I paid GOOD $$$ to see you "LIVE" and stood in line for days, camped out, etc. to get my tickets!! I know a lot of us were hoping to learn a lot from you.
If not...I guess I can put in that stereo I was talking about!! |

I like it! Can you make it really POP? You know with the flames or something like that?
Although as Jake pointed out, it should now be JONNOTSTOCK or JONMOD or JONNYMASSIVE. _________________ 73 Typ481

Hi everybody, Inge here.
Today is the day of our annual event and the weather is scorching. Ken and I wanted to ask if there are people that have shop fans to please bring them esspecially for tomorrow for in the garage. We have heat in there but no air.
Bring swimsuits and towels if you want to take a dip in the pool, the water looks fabulous. Sunscreen and bugspray might also be good idea.
Other than that, I am pooped from all the preparations for this weekend so as far as I am concerned I've done my part so the rest is up to everybody else. Have a great time, work and play hard and ENJOY the weekend.

JONNYMASSIVE should be Jon's new user name...
You guys have never seen me in "Mode".. Don't doubt that I can't do a TIV install while taking breaks to have Jon do some simple tasks with the conversion while I take a few minutes to go over a valve adjustment procedure...
I don't believe in doing things while people watch over my shoulder to learn.. That means I'll find a member that wants to learn and will instruct them exactly how something should be done step by step and then why.... You guys will learn better that way from watching the first timer, because I'll make it look too easy :-)
Thats how I learned how to rebuild one of there 4300HP beauties..

I know that my engine install has dominated the posts here, but as Jake was just pointing out, there will still be lots of other projects going on.
The first will be Scott's front end drop and disk brakes. That will start around 4:00ish this afternoon.
I can't wait...I'll probably arrive between 7-8:00pm.
My trans brace came in, now I just need to find my airfilters. (where did I put those? ) _________________ 73 Typ481
