AC on a Type 4 isn't the same big deal it is on a type 1. With the added power of a camper special, it can easily run AC. _________________ 73 Typ481

Real engines can lose a couple HP from A/C and not overheat, or need to be pushed up hill by Fred and Wilma...
Thats an old ass shroud, by the pics I'd say it's a 2002 vintage shroud.
I have a full A/C system ready to be bolted onto Beth's engine over the Winter... Just have to build the Turbo system so it doesn't foul any of the A/C goodies.. I have customers that run A/C all the time..
In the new shop these are the kind of full on upgrades we'll be able to do :-)
If you want to A/C the Bus you can do so with the stock cooling system. _________________ Jake Raby

The lines are there, plugged and uncut with the condenser intact under the bus and the evaporator/fan unit behind the sink. All I need is the compressor and mounts. _________________ 71 Standard Beetle "Big Bird"
