Anyone have info on where to or if I can get parts specifically the internal regulator for an AL82N alternator?

My volts like to jump up occasionally, nice bright headlights but the coil takes a beating.

Or anyone have a spare lying around? Not interested in plopping down the $100 plus for a new one.

Nash Truck Parts on the east side of Athens has a starter/generator/alternator rebuilding department. Give them a call. I haven't dealt with them personally, but have heard good things about them.

I second the Nash Truck repair center. Checked, rebrushed and lubed my generator for $20.

The guy at Nash could not find the replacement parts so Im still looking for either another unit or a shop that might be able to refurb this one.

If you do not mind the drive up to the Cornelia area, Starr electric has built 2 for me at a good price and they work fine.
