Yesterday, Nov 30th, I sold and delivered my 67 bus to its new owner. He was very happy to get her and planned to start on her right away. His plan is to only fix what body parts have to be replaced to make it drivable. He is even going to keep the multi-layer paint. The mechanical parts will all be rebuilt or replaced and once it is ready to be a daily driver it will become his work bus.
The really cool thing is that once he got it, he was checking the M-codes and discovered that Nov 30 1966 was its BIRTHDAY. On its 42nd birthday the bus found a new home and is going to go back to running up and down the roads. Pretty sweet deal for a bus that sat for 21 years waiting for a day like this.
This is TRUE....you can't make stuff like this up. _________________ 73 Typ481
