Clyde - Inge and I mailed our $30.00 + (2009 Club Dues) yesterday to you - (XL Shirt please).....You should have it soon!! One vehicle this year - TWEETY!!
We will be camping at Yonah Campground on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Inge's BDAY is Friday, May 8th, so we decided to make a weekend out of it.
We are both looking forward to catching up with all of our friends at the Athens VW Club. "AFTER FLORIDA WON THE NATIONAL FOOTBAL CHAMPIONSHIP AGAIN LAST YEAR!!", we felt it was only right to give Jon, Steve and the rest of the UGA DOG LOVERS in the club time to get over it before showing our faces again!
Just Kidding...Will be great to get back in the VW Swing again!
See everyone at the Poker Run.

Hope you have a good weekend folks. I have been driving around town just a little, but not planning on taking the bus on the road until I give the engine some attention and that can't start for a few more weeks. I'd tag along in the Toyota, but just can't bring myself to do it. Enjoy...

As close to 10:00 am as we can. We plan a 10:00 start, but if we are a little late leaving it is no big deal, as the first stop is lunch and we don't want to be too early.

But leaving late means finishing late... No big deal for those staying the night, but could be for those who are driving long distance home after the run..
As the groups get larger year after year the logistics and time lines become more critical... Just like with Hippie Days, everything has to run like a swiss watch to get that many cars where they need to be..

I'm talking about maybe 15 minutes, not any real delay. We have already discussed durations of stay at the various stops.
