Any donations for them can come to me, Jon or Bob G. Whichever you're closer to.
I'm watching the kids today, but hope to give blood Sunday if they're open, or next weekend. Anyone want to race and see who can fill the blood baggie faster? _________________ '69 Bug, 1776, dual kadrons, Web 111 cam

I went to the Athens Red Cross to give blood today. They said they don't actually have a credit system, but gave me a card saying I had donated for someone.
When I donated blood before my dad's cancer surgery 8 years ago,
they sent it directly to the hospital. But, that was at Shepeard Community Blood Bank in Augusta, not the Red Cross.
I would encourage everyone to donate. Especially if you have type O+ like me. They really like that!! In fact, Shepeard used to call me every 2-3 months just to remind me it was time to donate just in case I might have forgotten! _________________ 63 Beetle |

I'd love to race you Clyde... I am positive that my pump is better than yours :-)
BUT Uncle Sam gave me an Anthrax vaccine once upon a time and said I should never give blood again. _________________ Jake Raby

Wow! This is the first I've heard about this! We've had a houseful of relatives this week and I haven't been on the computer. I wish somebody would have called.
Our thoughts are with you Jim and Kathee, and hope you recover fully. We'll do what we can to help. _________________ '67 Westy (Ursula)

I talked to Kathee last night. Jim is still in ICU but is doing better. I was out of town over the weekend so I plan to get up to see him today. _________________ 73 Super

Jim and I want everyone to know how much all your well wishes ,your prayers, donating the blood, and all the many other things that everyone has done.
Jim said that he'll be moving to the 7th floor tonite or tomorrow.
His jaunced color has gotten much better. He has pneumonia but his breathing is better. It still tires him out to talk.
We can never really express our gratitude for all ya'll have done now and in the future.
It is so touching to know that we have such wonderful friends.
I will try to keep Joe up to date, so that everyone will be up on the latest.
With extreme gratitude,
Jim and Kathee |

This is Jim. I don't have a picture of Kathee. |
Just so everyone is clear, he is referring to the handsome guy in the foreground. |
