Use a 30 pict instead. Or try pop riveting the hole in the bottom butterfly shut. Or brazing or soldering it shut.

Or reaming the pilot jet, or increasing the size of the idle jet... Or throwing away the 009 dizzy that you more than likely have installed..

jon had a 34- sorry jon i just sold the 31 the other day- i have one you can play with -it needs total rebuild - i can bring it to the next meeting - or i can run it up to your work ne--why am i writing you when i can call u!!

I can second that. If you wanna get it running good and cheap. Pop rivet the air bleed and bump up your jets 60 idle and 130 main. I've done many and with those little mods itll dail in like butter.

Yup. $5.35 each I'll need to ream the idle for you. I've only got 55's in stock. I've got reamers and pin gages. Call to make sure I'm around before you come over.
