Been working on the buggy. We got the body off and pans cut out. Decided to build a tube chassis and roll cage.

Hoping to get back on today after I get back from the Optometrists.
I got something in it Friday and thought I got it out until yesterday when I woke up and couldn't see. _________________ 73 Super

I'm a 4 time survivor of steel in the eye and it's no fun. Good luck Joe. _________________ 71 Standard Beetle "Big Bird"

He said there was something in there but has come out and that the eye is still angry. I told him if it's angry today it was pissed yesterday.
I've been through this many times in the 25 years. It just sux this time because I had on glasses and still got metal in. _________________ 73 Super

With the weedeater it usually bounces off my cheek and under the glasses. _________________ 71 Standard Beetle "Big Bird"

Been filling in about 75 holes around the back of the buggy the last few days with fiberglass. I'll try to get some pics up tonight before we head to Pa. _________________ 73 Super

We got most of the holes filled in and the cracks repaired.
Started filling the holes in the dash last night. We got one layer of fiberglass on. Should finish it up today. Johnny read that you could use saran wrap in place of the release agent for fiberglass, so we gave it a try and it does work.
