I ride my bike past Dosters on Pulaski often and found this bus recently, just sitting there. Anyone know anything about it? If I had a little more time, a little more money, a little more know-how, a little more garage space -- well, you get the idea. Not even sure if it's for sale anyway. Kept it to myself for the past week or so but the curiousity is killing me!
My guess (I'm no bus expert) is it's an early to mid 1960's. I did not open any doors or crawl around underneath, obviously. Cargo-style, non walk-though. Looks to be original paint, and I think it has a motor in it. Check out the "sound system!" Rear quarters eaten away from below, the roof is mostly rust. I'm usually a stock-type guy, but this would also make a really cool, patina'd rat-rod! What do you all think?
B.
PS If one of ya'll buys it my finder's fee is that I get to ride in it! _________________ 1965 Beetle |

1963...
The rolled lips on the fenders and door handles make it a one year only appearance wise. _________________ Jake Raby

I stopped by on Friday to check it out. Still has its 40hp in it. The shop was closed, so I wasn't able to find out anything about it. I'll stop by again today. _________________ The Slumlord

I walked by there a couple of weeks ago. I figured it was a shop truck and or yard decorations. _________________ Steve
