check if the wires say ---Choose solid metal or radio-suppressed carbon core . One example of plug wires for sale.
another brand plug wire reads -Set features 0-ohm resistance solid stainless steel core wires plus an RFI/EFI Hybrid Protection Ring that prevents stereo noise and allows full coil power to reach the plugs. _________________ flat black 68 with biggies on back skinny up front- no power and i dont need wax!!!always ready for icecream !!! |

Well, for those you still waiting breathlessly for an update Here it is....The radio interference was coming from the capacitor. We (by we I mean...I did exactly what Clyde told me to do) changed to a points replacement module on my beetle during the recent tech day. Which means that we removed the points and capacitor. Low and behold, on the drive home the interference was gone! I Now Return You To Your Regularly Scheduled Broadcast, Already in Progress.... _________________ 1969 Beetle
