Bug-a-paluza is a week away. Who is going and when are you going? If you have never gone to this show, you should check it out. It is held just this (GA) side of Chatanooga and is an easy ride from Athens.
Little Jon and I will be camping as usual. I don't have room for my grill this year, but I will have a camp stove. (for those who usually use my grill)
We will be leaving early Friday morning driving the Thing to the show. Anyone else wanting to go early Friday is welcome to cruise with us. We will be meeting Joey and his crew in Gainesville at 8:30 am. This means we will leave Athens by 7:30 am. The meeting place for hooking up in Gainesville is the CVS where Hwy 53 deadends and takes a hard right.
We'll decide where to meet in Athens based on who else is going with us. Right now it is my Thing and Steve's bug that I know of.
I can't wait. _________________ 73 Typ481

The club has a portable grill now- Gary will be bringing it. It was a super garage sale deal- thaks Gary! I'll try and remember to bring a propane bottle for it.
Wilson's probably coming too, depending on the homework load.
We'll be leaving Athens around 4:00pm, glad my vendor spot is assigned, and not first come first served
This is a must do event. 3 hour drive. Big fundraiser for Ronald McDonald house, camping, typically great weather, shower in a Bus (never had the guts). And Dr. Feilding Good being chased by the Tennesee police bug.

Just changed the cam timing on Beth's bug.. I want to break 40 MPG while making 160 HP!
I gave it the yearly oil change too... That funky oil came out just as rainbow colored as it was poured in :-) _________________ Jake Raby

Is anyone heading up from Athens Saturday? I was gonna ride up for the day if anyone wants to convoy. _________________ Shane Price

I was planning on just going up 53. The CVS is past Oakwood and past 985 by a couple of miles. 53 dead ends at this corner and you have to go right to stay on 53. I think it is before Gainesville, but I'm not sure.? _________________ 73 Typ481

if Gary is not coming up til Saturday, Walt and I will be coming up on Friday morning. We are going to have to go by pickup this year so we can take the grill if you want it up there on friday. |

We are leaving early on friday, if we get there before everyone else, does the club what the same spot as last year or some other spot if there is a choice? Any idea how many spaces we need to make room for? |

Pat, it would be great if you could stake our claim. There will be at least 6 campers. Our usual area near the trees would be my first choice. _________________ 73 Typ481
